Community Houses
The community house is a place within each neighborhood where residents can gather socially and to discuss common issues of importance to the neighborhood and the entire Battle Creek community. NIBC views these locations as excellent venues to deliver a broad menu of programs like financial education, home ownership and individual counseling in an environment that is relaxed, convenient and conducive to good communication. The community houses are operated by volunteers who not only provide oversight for the houses but also perform fund-raising activities to support its operating cost and programs like "Summer Lunch" program for kids.
